Hi All,
I've got some probelm with getting username from Apache auth. .
I've got a .htaccess file with AuthTYpe Basic, AuthUserfile.. , require
valid-user, etc.
Everytime when anyone wants to get the page a window pops up for
username and password. It works fine.
My question is if there's any way to get the username one writes into
Apache poped up window? Can I somehow get it from Apache?
(The PHP manual has an example using HTTP headers. It uses two variables
($PHP_AUTH_USER, $PHP_AUTH_PW). How do these two variables are set?
Thanks for any help in advance,
Mate Lajtos
