dll confusion

hi, in the php extensions (from c:\php) there is no dll for odbc (ie - something like php3_odbc.dll). is it somewhere else? is it present or not? if no then how do we make a odbc connection i.e. using what do we connect to any database without using any database specific extension. when i try to load some of this extension at run time they get loaded without any problem (like php3_calendar.dll,php3_crypt.dll). <i have extionsion_dir = c:\php in my php3.ini> but when i try to load php3_oci80.dll or php3_libdb.dll i get following type of error : "Fatal error: Unable to load dynamic library 'c:\php/php3_oci80.dll' The specified module could not be found. in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\php\TEST.PHP on line 5" please can someone tell me why?is that slash and backslash in 'c:\php/php3_oci80.dll'creating problem? how does it get such a path???? pls note it works perfectly with some dll like php3_crypt.dll and not with others like php3_oci80.dll. please help me out of these confusions, i am with this problem for last 7 days. pls help me not loose confidence in php deepaks ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
