The query should look similar to this:
SELECT table1.col as [column_a],
table2.col as [column_b] FROM table1LEFT JOIN (or LEFT OUTER JOIN) table2 ON table2.some_key_col = table1.some_key_col ... for all required keys WHERE <search condition>
