Jeremy,
Try sites like webmonkey and phpbuilder for php/mysql tutorials. The best
way is to start by doing the examples they go through, and then try to build
a simple site (not too complex!), for example a simple address book. Then
you can add a login etc etc.

Subject: [PHP-DB] Beginning With Databases
I am just starting out with PHP and mySQL, and aim to have a large
interactive web site
I'm not quite sure where to start. What is the easiest and fastest way to
learn SQL and PHP?
