http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.rename.php You are just moving files on a file system from one place to another right? rename("/old/path/to/file/filename.pdf","/new/path/newfilename.pdf") or die("can't move file"); Can't remember what variable/function holds the last error for rename, otherwise I'd put it there.
