i recently installed apache and php4 on my RH 6.2 box. i then installed
oracle8i (8.1.6) on it and successfully setup the db. so far so good.
i then recompiled php4 with the --with-oci8 switch successfully without any
errors.
i executed a phpinfo() script to see the new oracle variables ... i can see
them under "PHP Variables" and "Additional Modules" sections.
but when i run a simple script using the ocilogon() function, i get the
error ...
"Fatal error: Call to undefined function: ocilogon() in
/usr/local/apache/htdocs/oratest.php on line 3"
my php script is as under ....
<?php
print "<HTML><BODY>";
$c1 = ocilogon("scott","tiger");
function select_data($conn)
{ $stmt = ociparse($conn,"select * from emp");
ociexecute($stmt);
echo $conn."----selecting\n\n";
while (ocifetch($stmt))
echo $conn." <".ociresult($stmt,"TEST").">\n\n";
echo $conn."----done\n\n";
}
select_data($c1);
print "</BODY></HTML>";
?>
where am i going wrong? why cant PHP execute my ocilogon() function?
urgent help needed plz.
