quick question which I can't find the answer to, how can I insert data
into a specific row of a table?
I have tried :
INSERT INTO Ggerwyt (merURL) VALUES ('test.com') WHERE GgerID=12
INSERT INTO Ggerwyt (merURL) VALUES ('test.com') SELECT GgerID=12
WHERE GgerId='12' INSERT INTO Ggerwyt (merURL) VALUES ('test.com');
no luck...
I can do the generic INSERT from the command line without the WHERE part
(GgerID=12) but it creates a NEW row and inserts the value.
I can do the insert from PHPMyAdmin but it doesn't show the syntax for the
command. :-(
do I need to use UPDATE or some other method?
TIA,
/frank
