Subject: [PHP-DB] Populating Databases
I have a large number of text files that I would like to insert into a
database (about 5,00 or so)
Is there any way to do this quickly?
My site has sheet music for instruments
I need to parse out the Band Name and Song Name, so I can organize the sheet
music.
The way the tables work (trimmed down version for this specific problem)
SheetMusic
Sheet_ID
BandName
SongName
Bodies (Text files)
Sheet_ID
BLOB field
The files are currently in a directory (Ex)
www.mydomain.com/l/led_zeppelin/songname.txt
Any way I can do this?
Thanks,
Jeremy
