Copy protecting images

I am on vacation (Teton National Park) so I cannot try this myself. A
potential client asked me if it is possible to put a waterrmark with
jpeg images so they cannot be copied. If I use the HTML BACKGROUND
property and display a watermark, will this prevent a user from copying
thye image without the watermark?
