Sybase and Php3

I don't write english very weel. I write spanish.
I install php first and sybase (11.9) second in a LINUX 6.3.
Php is functioning OK. Sybase is running by isql.
When I use sybase_connect() the answer is "command no permited"
I thing the php don't have installed the libraries of sybase.
How I can install or recompile php to use Sybase.
