I think you should enable interbase support with the configuration options for PHP as I never heard of a module like "mod_php4-ibase.rpm" ... try this: ./configure --with-interbase=/opt/interbase [...] where [...] are the other options you need for PHP compilation/installation. I assumed in my example, that you installed InterBase 6.0 into the default Linux directory (namely /opt/interbase). Otherwise use whatever meets your environment.
