Use this variable:
$_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]
It's worked the best for me.

Subject: [PHP-DB] Simple Referrer
Hi. This seems like it should be simple. I've had no problem doing this
in other languages, but can find no reference to this function in the
PHP manual.
How can I get PHP to return the referring URL?
Thanks.
