Core dump in PHP4 accessing Oracle 8.0.5

PHP 4.0.1
Apache 1.3.12
PHP is compiled with "--with-oracle" option as Apache module, it works fine
but when I try to use any Oracle function in a php script, php process stops
with a core dump. "phpinfo()" shows that Oracle Support is active and
the Oracle Home is ok too. Oracle is working fine (tested with sqlplus in
localhost
and with ODBC using a NT4).
