Hi Melissa, It's possible that Access is doing something like opening it in read-only/single-user mode, and then trying to open it again. The best way to see what is happening is to set up a trace. There is a tracing tab in the ODBC Administrator - start tracing there, and then test your DSN by, say, trying to import data from that Access DB into Excel. Hope this helps!
