imagecreatetruecolor ?

Hi all! I´m trying to create a true color Jpeg thumbnail, I take a picture (Jpg/jpeg) resized and copied -> inserted to database and a thumbnail is saved in a diffrent folder BUT....the thumb looks wierd.
