As I have stated in other postings, I have PHP 4.0.2 running on Win 2K with IIS 5.0. My database is Interbase 6 and everything runs fine *except* the GET/POST methods do not work. So, I installed Apache and the GET/POST *now work but* Interbase does not run. When I look at the results of phpinfo(), the Extension_Dir is blank under Apache. I only have one php.ini file on my hard drive and it is not changed when I switch between IIS and Apache.
Are you saying that forms, links, whatever that have any data don't work? What exactly happens? Something is seriously screwed up, or on the other hand something extremely simple could be wrong (like the security settings on the browser you're using). Under Apache, what does Interbase have to do with your web server? I'm not specifically familiar with this product, but generally the database server is completely independent of the web server - there's no reason why it should care whether it is serving Apache or IIS. Can you provide any more details about the problems here? When you say Interbase does not run, do you mean it won't even start up, or you are unable to access it from a PHP script running under Apache? What kind of errors are you getting in both situations? -- Jamie
