ODBC-Sybase ASE 11.9.2 & PHP?

We would like to use PHP and Sybase ASE 11.9.2 with Linux together. We
don't want to use Sybase Access functions of PHP but ODBC-Driver. We bought
the Sybase ODBC - Driver for Linux and installed it. But know we need to
compile PHP with --with-custom-odbc=PATH where PATH is the PATH of the
ODBC-Driver installation location. PHP needs an odbc.h file which is not
provided by the Driver. Does anyone know this problem or has any experience
with PHP and Sybase on Linux?
