Hi all,
I'm getting trouble when using an update statement within an ACCESS
database via ODBC. The plateform I use is PHP 4.0.2 / IIS 5.0 / Win2000.
Here's this statement :
$sql = "UPDATE $table set Divers='voiture' WHERE ID_etudiant=$ID;";
or
$sql = "UPDATE $table set Divers='$Divers' WHERE ID_etudiant=$ID;";
I also tried with :
$sql = "UPDATE $table set Divers=\"voiture\" WHERE ID_etudiant=$ID;";
and I'm still having the following error message :
Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][Pilote ODBC Microsoft Access] Erreur de
syntaxe dans l'instruction UPDATE., SQL state 37000 in SQLExecDirect in
xxxnew.php on line 126
Any ideas about what that could be ???
Thanks
Stéphane
