phpMyAdmin will take an enum field and create a drop down select box for you
when you go to add data.
I use a comma as the seperator, and wrap the choices in single quotes when I
create an enum field in phpMyAdmin.
If you're getting backslashes in your select box, then you need to set
magic_quotes to 'On' in your php.ini file.
