Compiling in the iODBC driver manager should be enough for PHP.
www.iodbc.org holds a HOWTO on this process. You will also need a driver -
one option is Openlink's Multi-Tier. The Solaris 2.7 drivers should work,
and we will be releasing our 4.0 drivers with specific 2.8 support.
