Text?

Hi all, I have passed a value like name=John Smith to the second page inside the form. When I do echo "<input type=text name=fullname value=$name>, I only see John one word display inside the text box, but if I just echo "$name"; it gives me John Smith. How could I eliminate the space between the value inside the text box? Could anyone tell me how to do it, thank you very much! Calvin
