php+oracle8.1.6+apache problem (fwd)

hi friends
i'm working in a php compiling with oracle (8.1.6) support
i have set this eviroment variables
$ORACLE_HOME=/home/oracle/oraclehome
$LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/oracle/oraclehome/lib
and then i run
./compile --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-oracle=/home/oracle/oraclehome
--with-oci8=/home/oracle/oraclehome
make
make install
the compiling is right, but when i try to startup apache it
simply start and die
i have tried with php 3.0.16, 4.0.1pl2, 4.0.2, and 4.0.3pl1 with the
same results:
running httpd -t alone give an error message:
Segmentation Failure
core dumped
has somebody any idea?
