Hi,
As the postgresql user,
/usr/local/pgsql:$ createuser apache
in pgsql,
pgsql> grant all on <tablename> to apache;
basically the apache user doesn't have access to the database, which we now granted. :)
Hi to all. I have the following problem. I have the following call in a php script $con = pg_connect("dbname = people"); when I try to execute this I get the following error message: Warning: unable to connect to postgreSQL server: FATAL 1: setUserId: user 'apache' is no i 'pg_shadow' in /var/www/html/applet/index.php in line 18 As you can see... I am running RedHat 7.0 with apache and PHP4... which is the mistake and where can I allow the user apache to access the database? Thanks a lot------------------------ Chris Smith http://www.squiz.net
