The wierd thing is that it wasn't being passed back into oracle as it stood.
However, when converted to a string (which it is) is the pl/sql call, the
pl/sql package worked. strangerer and strangerer..

it's an opaque data-type in php as php itself has no concept
what a rowid is. you should be able to pass that back to
oracle via ocibindbyname just fine.
