Which version of PHP4 for Interbase 6?

Hi there,
I read somewhere else that the 'newest' version of PHP4 is having trouble
with Interbase 6. An 'earlier' version of PHP4 is recommended. As you can
see, this is a bit confusing.
I use Interbase 6 for Linux (Mandrake) and NT, and want to try PHP4. Which
version are you guys using with IB6?
