Hi,
Is any body looking at getting access to SAP RFC's or maybe BAPI via PHP?

Yes

There are no plans for native support. SAP DB (beeing based on Adabas D)
doesn't have a higher level C-API, so the only option would be to go
with the Precompiler and embedded SQL, which IMHO is clumsy for PHP
extensions.
