Hi to all! I have to create a table that will contain a field that will be a commentary from the user? Which data type should I have to use? Does it exists memo?
There isn't a memo datatype in postgresql, there's text, varchar & char. If you're going to limit the users input to a certain amount of characters, use varchar(limit) (limit being the max number of characters the user can input). If you aren't going to limit the input, use text. Regards, ------------------------ Chris Smith http://www.squiz.net
