Could you please be a little more specific? What is the platform of your
other server (the one running MySQL 3.22) ? Sample queries with results on
the two different machines?
Also, the title of your post leads one to believe that you have issue with
the way that MySQL's arithmetic functions are working, yet your message
discusses PHP scripts that are not executing properly. I think some
code/results from your two different machines would be of some importance
for us to help you :)

Subject: [PHP-DB] MySQL - arithmetic operations
Hi,
on my local testserver (WinNT 4.0) I've got MySQL 3.23.26 installed and
everything works fine.
I Uploaded some PHP Scripts to a server running MySQL 3.22 and have to
realize that queries containing arithmetic operations are not executed.
Is it a known bug? Isn't it a bug but a feature?
I want the datasets sorted by a value of a column divided by another column
subtracted the value of another column divided by another give value.
Hope you can help me, or tell me about this "feature"
Greetings
