PHP4.0.0 and Informix 7.30.uc7 Linux

Hello all, after some fiddling, I got it to run with 7.30.uc7 on Linux. When starting up, it sais "plain Apache 1.3 might crash under EAPI" or something. Than it ran fine for weeks, but as more and more people use my application, it happens about once a day that the httpd process starts to build up memory until the machine is totally locked :-( Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong with the EAPI thing .. ? Since I was glad to get it to run with Linux/IFX7.30.uc7 in the first place, i wonder if there have been fixes to the IFM module at all since 4.0.0 ... justifing I spend another day for an upgrade ?
