Hi there ... I'm working with sessions (PHP4) <? session_save_path("/tmp"); session_start(); $sid = session_id(); echo "Session : $sid"; ?> It was fine a few hours ago, but now it doesn't start the session ... What can I do ? What could I change ? Tks! The error message reported by the Apache's error_log file when I try to run it is : Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0
This is my /tmp dir ... drwxrwxrwt 7 sys sys 588 Nov 18 03:45 tmp Here is the session part from my /usr/local/lib/php.ini file ... session.save_handler = files session.save_path = /tmp session.use_cookies = 1 session.name = PHPSESSID session.auto_start = 1 session.cookie_lifetime = 0 session.cookie_path = / session.cookie_domain = session.serialize_handler = php session.gc_probability = 1 session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440 session.referer_check = session.entropy_length = 0 session.entropy_file = session.cache_limiter = nocache session.cache_expire = 180 session.use_trans_sid = 1
