FreeBSD + Sybase (MSSQL)

Hi there. Some time ago I was looking for a way to make php (linux) talk to mssql. After a lot of research, I could make it work fine (without doing select 1; insert ...) with the following set Linux 2.2.14-5.0, Apache 1.3.14, PHP 4.0.3pl1 (SO), sybase-11.9.2 Now I have the same problem, but with FreeBSD. First, I could compile php as a shared object, with support for sybase. The library was not sybase-11.9.2, but an earlier version: sybase-11.0.3.3 for FreeBSD. The problem is: I couldn't stablish a connection to the server. I didn't found an interfaces file with this library; does it have one? where should I put my interfaces file? Or how should I connect to the server? If anyone achieved the same goal, with or without this approach, please answer this message.
