You can use 'exec' or 'execute' but you dont't have to
i.e. $query = "procedurename parameter1, parameter2";
but it sounds like you've got the stored procedure name wrong or its in
another database

Subject: [PHP-DB] Sql Server stored procedure strikes back
I am trying to execute a sql server stored procedure with the following
code:
MSSQL_CONNECT($hostname,$username,$password) or DIE("DATABASE FAILED TO
RESPOND.");
mssql_select_db($dbName) or DIE("Table unavailable");
$query = "execute procedurename parameter1,parameter2";
$result = MSSQL_QUERY($query);
and this is the response,
"Warning: MS SQL message: Could not find stored procedure 'procedurename'.
(severity 16)"
any ideas?
Thanks,
David.
