Hi,
Usually I use fopen($URL,"r") to check whether a remote file is exist. Until
I found an URL that prove this method isn't reliable. For example:
fopen("ftp://ftp.simtel.net/pub/simtelnet/win95/sched/aap_v10h.zip","r")
return false, while
fopen("ftp://ftp.remotetek.com/freepak/fpk132.zip","r")
return true. Both
file is exist!!
Can anyone give me a reliable method to check whether a remote file exist or
not? or have any idea why this happens?
