dear sir,
I am a new user to php.i have php-3.0.15 my
operating system is redhat linux 6.2 i also use sybase
ASE 11.0.3.3.
I am trying to use the authors table in pubs2 database
in sybase.i have the following index.php3 in
/home/httpd/html directory.

$link=sybase_connect("SYBASE","sa",'");
$dbase=sybase_select_db("pubs2",$link);
$result=sybase_query("select * from authors",$dbase);
?>
I get the following error when i try to access the
index.php3 page
Fatal error:call to unsupported or undefined function
sybase_conect() in /home/httpd/html/index.php3 on line

can u please tell me what is the error and also please
tell me what should i write in place of "sa" i even
tried my sybase password but still got the same error.
