Change your query to: OCIParse($conn, SELECT NAME, SUM(KBYTE_IN) AS SumOfKByte FROM TEST) and get the value with: $nKByte = $Result[SumOfKByte] Hope this helps... _____ ~ Richard Allsebrook ~ Applications Developer and Webmaster Easysoft Limited, No3 The Embankment, Leeds, LS1 4BJ http://www.easysoft.com <http://www.easysoft.com> - http://www.cinema.com <http://www.cinema.com> "A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila." _____ -----Original Message----- From: R Maier [mailto:rmaier@ipm.net] Sent: Friday, December 01, 2000 1:15 PM To: PHP-DB Subject: [PHP-DB] OCI calls select SUM(KBYTE_IN) In an OCIParse($conn, SELECT NAME, SUM(KBYTE_IN) FROM TEST) I get all values returned as array_values proofs. When I then try to access the data with $sName = $Result[NAME] is ok. but $nKByte = $Result[SUM(KBYTE_IN)] gets biiigggg problems.
