Put an "@" symbol before you sybase function call. That will suppress the
warning, but not get rid of it. It won't appear, but the issue won't be
solved.

Subject: [PHP-DB] sybase message
My environment is Linux + PHP + Sybase. On every page that has database
access, I got the following message:
Warning: Sybase: Server message: Changed database context to 'db_mf'.
(severity 10, procedure N/A)
Is there a way to disable this message which should not be a warning nor
error?
