Hello,
System:
-Solaris 2.6
-Apache 1.3.12
-PHP4.0.4
-Oracle8i installed locally
-OpenLDAP newest version (2.0.6?)
I cannot get OCI and LDAP to work together. LDAP wont connect to server.
This is a main bug that is in the bug database. I did some research and
various people said they got it to work by adding -lldap -llber BEFORE
-lclntsh in the apache Makefile. When I do this I get a compilation
error. If I take out the --with-oci config call, it works fine. I also
read to not use OpenLDAP and use --with-ldap=$ORACLE_HOME (Oracle's LDAP
headers) and it compiles fine "with" LDAP support but same problem.
(phpinfo() says LDAP is installed and enabled, but no go)
I know it can be done. How have people with similar setups been
successful?
Please clue me in. I need them both.
Thanks in advance.
