Sybase Query problems

Hi Everyone,
I am currently having problems with the Sybase_query function.
I am running php4 on Apache(Linux) with a Sybase connection to a Microsoft
SL Server.
The problem is that after the connection is made and the database selected I
attempt to run
a simple INSERT statement. After the data gets inserted into the table
Apache seg faults with
the following error:
child pid 18571 exit signal segmentation fault (11)
I'm pretty sure it's not the database causing the error because the data
gets inserted into the table.
I'm hoping some one out there has run into the same issue using the Sybase
functions of others.
