Subject: [PHP-DB] Uploading files
Hi all,
This is probably a *really* simple question, but I can't for the life
of me see the answer - hope someone will help.
I'm running RedHat 7.0, PHP 4.0.3 and Apache 1.3.14 and I'm trying to
upload some files. I got the upload form code from
http://www.php.net/manual/features.file-upload.php
(figure 19-1).
The problem is when I try to upload anything other than text files -
$userfile just comes back as NONE. I think the problem lies with the
MIME type. I saw the comment from mculey@jccc.net (near the end of the
above page) about setting the default_mimetype in php.ini to blank,
but I couldn't get that to work.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance,
damian
