Hello,
I'm using ODBC (Win2K) to access an Access database in PHP, but I'm having a
major problem. The database has linked tables from another database on a
network drive, and trying to access these linked tables fails:
Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft
Jet database engine cannot open the file 'R:\DATAENTR\dataentr.mdb'. It is
already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view
its data., SQL state S1000 in SQLExecDirect in
W:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wsmr\sberesults.php on line 34
It's definitely a security issue, not allowing access to the linked tables
in a database with its own security even though the database I'm connected
to via ODBC has full access. Any tips on how to get around this? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Justin Smith
