Re: MySQL database transfer

and how would you move an entire database from a windows environment to a linux environment? I've tried copying my database to disk, from the data folder in windows, and then moved it to the var/lib/mysql folder in Linux, however mysql is unable to find the database tables, when I try to open up the database in the Linux environment.. any suggestions?
