after the posts from earlier this month (june 6), it is still not clear
whether anyone has actually succeeded in getting php to talk to
filemaker.
the filemaker website produces no result when searched for php
references.
does anyone have some hands-on experience of this combinatation working
in real life? after not having had much success in getting php to
connect with access, despite everything being correctly configured in
the odbc control box, i am sceptical about php and odbc. it would be
very tedious and expensive to go the cold fusion route.
I ran PHP quite successfully with DB2 connecting via ODBC, so I would say the fault does not lie with PHP's implementation, but rather configuration or the database product.
I've never used Filemaker in this configuration though, so I can't lend much help in that regard.
