Until you show me a way to transfer an image in HTML other than the <IMG
SRC="url/to/image"> tag I'm going to continue to believe that EVERY
image sent over the web IS another link.
It is a separate HTTP request, a separate invocation of PHP and a
separate database connection if you insist on getting the image from the
database.
It would be great if the rules of HTML were different, but they are not.
EVERY image IS a separate request. PHP does not change the rules of
HTML, it just provides a dynamic way to generate it.
