I am using PHP with Access at the moment, and I haven't used the select_db
function.. (So I don't know what it is for, but I'll show you how I did it,
may it helps...)
I just made a System DSN with ODBC-Datasources in the Windows Configuration
screen. (I called it 'EXAD')
Then I do in PHP:
<?php
$db = ODBC_Connect("EXAD", "", "");
$res = ODBC_Exec($db, "SELECT fieldname FROM table WHERE conditions");
while (ODBC_Fetch_Row($res)) {
echo "<TR><TD>".ODBC_Result($res,
'fieldname')."</TD></TR>";
}
ODBC_Free_Result($res);
?>
This works for me...
Sander.
