Try setting your $ODBCINSTINI and $ODBCINI $LD_LIBRARY_PATH variables in the
envrionment before starting apache/php and also pass them into your script
like so: putenv("ODBCINI=/path/to/odbc.ini");
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Andrew

Subject: [PHP-DB] ODBC error
If I execute the following PHP 4 code, I get the list error:
<?php
$user="SYSDBA";
$password="masterkey";
$host="acct_odbc";
echo "I am before the connect";
$MyOdbc=odbc_connect($host,$user,$password);
echo "I am after the connect";
?>
Error:
I am before the connect
Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name
not found
and no default driver specified, SQL state IM002 in SQLConnect in
c:\inetpub\wwwroot\db_odbc.php on line 6
I am after the connect
With other DBMS's, the Data Source Name works fine. What am I missing?
