I'm running an Apache 1.3.19 on a Windows NT server using PHP 4.05 and
Intersolv 3.11 ODBC.
I upgraded the NT server from SP5 to SP6. The ODBC connections became
3-5 times slower (a return of data went from 10 seconds to 50 seconds).
Some of my stuff now times out and crashes PHP - my timeout is set at 60
seconds! This stuff never took longer than 25 seconds before the
upgrade.
It also appears that if more than one PHP request comes in that PHP also
crashes.
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this? Any solutions?
I'd just as soon not have to reinstall NT4, but if that is what I have
to do, I guess I will.
