Todd,
Ack, Intersolv? ::grin:: sorry, they are our direct competitor.
I'm not exactly sure how they handle non-supported databases.
We can 'piggyback' on another layer, e.g. if you can create a DSN with any
driver to the Interbase database, you can create an Openlink DSN on your php
box that uses the other DSN on your database box.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,
Andrew

Subject: [PHP-DB] WIN/ODBC/Interbase
I thought I had my problems with ODBC solved; they are only partially
solved.
I can use PHP 4 and ODBC to connect to an Access DB; I cannot connect to
an Interbase DB. The DSN I am using works for other DBMS's; not for PHP
4 and odbc_connect().
In the INTERSOLV DSN, the Database Name is set to "c:\tmp\employee.gdb".
Any suggestions?
Todd
<?php
$user="sysdba";
$password="masterkey";
$host="employee_odbc";
$employeedb=odbc_connect($host,$user,$password);
odbc_close($employeedb);
?>
