If you're interested in using PHP with IBM's DB2 database,
you might want to check out my article "Connecting PHP Applications
to DB2 Universal Database" at http://www7b.boulder.ibm.com/dmdd/.
The article provides a brief overview of PHP, followed by a
section that describes how to build and configure PHP as a
dynamically loaded PHP module on Red Hat Linux with support
for DB2 V7.1, then develops a small application that demonstrates
how to connect to a DB2 database and perform typical tasks.
