I guess that you could use a CASE construct and pass a switch to it via
the URL, e.g.
http://www.foo.com/bar.php3?action=do_something
Then under the do_something switch, you could place the relevant db-query
code or custom-made functions without worrying about people decoding the
sensitive data previously containted in your HREF link.
That's what I would do, anyways. :)
Might not be the best/right/most efficient way, but hey...
