Ah right you are, I am running php3 on a cobalt raq2 which is a redhat kernel modified by cobalt, I installed php 3.0.7 from there rpm's and there is not a newer one there, is 3.0.7 quite old. This Linux stuff is somewhat new to me, I come from a windows asp and cfml background and php3 seems really great especially considering that you are competing with some companies who have huge $$ for development. Can you tell me is there an easy way to compile the newest tarball which I have so that I can copy the newest modules for apache to load. When I installed the rpm's for php, httpd.conf got modified in my apache dir, it added this: LoadModule php3_module /usr/libexec/apache/mod_php3.so AddModule mod_php3.c so I am hoping that I can simply compile the newest php, copy the newer files over those ones, maybe rename them and that should do the trick, is that right? is it more complicated, I compiled it already but there is not .so or .c files?? > -----Original Message----- > From: Bug Database [mailto:php-dev@lists.php.net] > Sent: Monday, September 06, 1999 6:58 PM > To: terry@dynavar.com; php-dev@lists.php.net > Subject: Bug #2253 Updated: date functions reporting strange values > > > ID: 2253 > Updated by: rasmus > Reported By: terry@dynavar.com > Status: Closed > Bug Type: Misbehaving function > Assigned To: > Comments: > > Then you are not using 3.0.12.
